The aim of the NEGC Quality Improvement work group is to improve the health of those with genetic conditions by improving healthcare processes. The methods are those developed by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and the Dartmouth Clinical Microsystems. The work group is a regional, voluntary, multi-disciplinary group of clinicians with a passion for quality healthcare practices in the treatment of genetic conditions. The Quality Improvement work group has formulated a foundation for improving the quality of healthcare on the national level.
