 The overall goal of the Dissemination, Education and Marketing (DEM) work group is to promote awareness and education of genetic conditions.
Good information on genetic conditions exists, however, it is not always tailored in a manner that is useable by those that need it, when it is needed. Access to applicable knowledge of the diagnosis, treatment, challenges and care of genetic conditions is crucial in the effort to improve the health and well-being of those with genetic conditions The Dissemination, Education and Marketing work group endeavors to ensure that the right forms of information reach the right audiences. The result of these efforts has been practical, applicable information in the hands of those groups that need it.
